Remembrance Weekend

Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday are dates close to the Nation’s heart. This is especially true for those who have lost friends, colleagues and loved ones, as it offers the opportunity to honour those who fought for their country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Remembrance events are also an opportunity to remember those who are still with us, but have suffered as a result of their service.

Today, 50 Not Forgotten beneficiaries from several different organisations, Services, regiments and units, will march past the Cenotaph alongside 10,000 others to remember those who have died in the service of their country. By remembering the past and supporting those who are suffering today, we can make sure that all our Service personnel, past and present, are Proudly Not Forgotten.
