This is what we achieved in 2020

2020 was a year filled with various challenges. Most commonly, it brought what felt like a never-ending stream of making plans and then having to postpone them, change them, or replace them.

The pandemic and the resulting restrictions have been a real test of our flexibility, adaptability, and perseverance – especially as a charity which focuses on bringing human connection to our Armed Forces community.

We had to get creative, and we added new ideas like Virtual Concerts, a Christmas DVD, and Drive-in Concerts.

We also added a twist to some of our classic events, like our socially distanced activity week at Ascombe, or our outdoor concerts for care homes.

We are delighted that we were still able to support as many if not more beneficiaries than we have in recent years gone by – at a time when that support was sorely needed.

Below is a summary of some of our achievements in the past year. We can’t wait to get started with a new calendar for 2021!
