A Special Thank You to Mickie Driver!

Entertainment plays a huge role in our work. Some music and dancing can go such a long way in bringing people together and making them feel less lonely and isolated.

We are incredibly proud of our entertainers, who have always gone the extra mile to support our veterans.

For 17 years, Mickie Driver has been at the forefront of our entertainment team; bringing joy to care homes up and down the country.

As he takes a step back from his role, we would like to give him a special thank you for all he has done for our veterans.

Below are a collection of some great photos of Mickie doing what he does best!

The very talented Annie Riley will be taking his place, but the service of Mickie to our charity will never be forgotten.

Not Forgotten CEO, Brig. James Stopford said: “Mickie Driver has been the face and sound of our care home concerts over the years.

“He has been the liveliest, most engaging and much-loved heart of our entertainment programme and so we are sad he is taking a step back but thrilled he is handing the reigns over to Annie Riley.

“There is no-one else who could fill such enormous shoes but Annie, and we know and very much hope we’ll see Mickie again.

“Thank you, Mickie – we have all smiled, laughed and sung because of your energy, inspiration and pizzazz.”
