Put a Smile on a Veteran’s Face this Christmas
Christmas can be an isolating time for veterans. For those who struggle to leave the house or to socialise in busy settings, or for those who would love to socialise but don’t have many festive plans, it can be a lonely time of year.
A gift of £50 to our Smile Campaign will pay for a veteran to attend one of our Christmas Lunches around the UK – an afternoon of live entertainment and a tasty Christmas lunch, helping veterans to socialise in a safe setting with like-minded people who understand them.
A few hours of smiles and laughter; lifting spirits, combating isolation and helping veterans feel part of something this Christmas.
In return for your donation you will receive a limited-edition Smile badge and certificate, and your money will go towards our 2023 SMILE campaign target, helping our vital work restoring dignity, confidence and independence to veterans.

These fabulous fundraisers have all earned their SMILE certificate and badge during 2023 – in many and varied ways!
Louise ran a stall at her local summer fayre; Hilary asked friends and family to sponsor her to run on her treadmill every day; Kerry set up a Facebook birthday fundraiser; Martin and Martin completed the epic Marathon des Sables; Debbie and Frank ran an afternoon tea for their local community; and Mick and Sue sold bags of manure! Do send us photos of your own Smile fundraisers as we love to see you in action…
