Celebrate Our Centenary With A Challenge

RAISING FUNDS IN CELEBRATION OF OUR CENTENARY YEAR

Our 100th year officially comes to a close in August 2021, as does our Centenary Challenge.

So far, over 150 of our wonderful supporters have already given £100 or more as part of the challenge since last year and remarkably have already raised:

The aim now is simple…

For as many supporters to take part in the challenge and fundraise  or donate £100 or more in celebration of our centenary, between now and the end of August.

All you have to do is register with us so we know you are getting involved in our Centenary Challenge and so we can send you a special edition centenary badge and certificate!

To do this, simply contact us at fundraising@thenotforgotten.org or call 020 7730 2240 and we’ll help get you started with your registration form or chat about any fundraising ideas you may have.

However you decide to fundraise for us as part of our Centenary Challenge, thank you. Put simply, we couldn’t do it without you.

DON’T KNOW WHAT EVENT TO ORGANISE?

Don’t worry – here are some ideas:

FOR THE SPORTY

Run, swim or cycle for The Not Forgotten in your local area, or challenge yourself in the Gym – why not ask people to sponsor you for every push-up, pull-up or mile cycled. You could do it on your own or in a group!

FOR THE CREATIVE

Make and sell cards, crafts, cakes or trinkets for The Not Forgotten.  Put on a 100-minute show or gig with a percentage of ticket sales being donated to us.

FOR THE BUSY

Too busy to organise a fundraiser? Why not donate part of your salary to enrich the lives of injured service personnel, or put The Not Forgotten forward as your company’s charity of the year.

You could also whip around the office, asking your colleagues to donate any spare change. Or why not encourage them to start their own 2020 Centenary Challenge Fundraiser?

FOR THE KIDS

Sponsor them to give up something they would really miss (like their smartphone), or encourage them to take part in a sponsored silence, a goal kicking contest, a skip-a-thon, or any other sponsored games or challenges you can think of! Why not put The Not Forgotten forward as the school charity of the year?

IN THE COMMUNITY

Hold a collection in your local supermarket or train station, put on a dance or Zumbathon in your local hall, organise a bake sale, a movie marathon, street party or coffee morning. All of these are a brilliant way to bring the community together behind a great cause!
