Our Impact 2024-25: Together we've made a huge difference to the Armed Forces Community

Introducing our new annual Impact Report 2024-25

For many years, The Not Forgotten has shared an Annual Review of our work. This year, we’ve taken a fresh approach - publishing an Impact Report; a sharper, more focused look at how we’ve delivered against our mission.

This Impact Report shows the real difference your participation and generosity make. It’s more than numbers - it’s proof that together we change lives.

Our Impact 2024-25: Together, we’ve made an incredible difference to the Armed Forces community

This year reflects the power of The Not Forgotten community.

Thanks to your unwavering commitment, we’ve continued to combat loneliness and isolation amongst veterans and service personnel living with injury and illness - restoring dignity, independence and joy to those who have given so much for our country.

We’ve achieved milestones that truly matter:

  • 10,023 beneficiaries supported through our events and activities – plus an estimated 10,000 partners and family members.
  • 149 events delivered in 32 UK counties, from respite and challenge breaks to concerts and Royal parties.
  • 1.6 million people reached online worldwide, extending camaraderie and connection beyond physical events. A new website seeing a 20% uplift in traffic; laying the groundwork for exciting digital delivery initiatives to come.
  • £273,633 raised in donations by our inspirational supporter community.
  • Over 100 venues and partners and over 250 military charities chose to collaborate with us to deliver and fund our programme.
  • Income of £1.27M raised through a diverse mix of grants, community fundraising, corporate partnerships, and legacies - showing the strength of our supporter network.
  • We’re building for the future. By diversifying income streams and strengthening partnerships, we’re ensuring The Not Forgotten remains resilient and able to support veterans for generations to come.

But the true measure of success is in the lives you’ve helped transform:

  • Rae, an Army veteran injured in Bosnia and suffering mentally and physically, who came on our 2025 ski trip to Colorado:
“That trip has changed my life. Not only did I learn to sit-ski but I found my bravery. I am living again and not just existing. This charity offers veterans like me a lifeline. The opportunity of the shared experiences is bonding, healing, and for me, life-affirming.”
  • Ben, an Army veteran who attended our Drive-In Concert in Kent:
“Before I discovered The Not Forgotten I was feeling very isolated, completely ignored and frankly left to rot by the country I was injured in serving. I came home from the Drive-In absolutely beaming with positivity and since that day my mental health and outlook on life have improved dramatically; I have not stopped talking about it since. I now feel strongly that my service to my country was not all one sided, and it is The Not Forgotten I have to thank, from the bottom of my heart.”

Our Impact Report 2024-25 is a story of hope, progress, and partnership. Every achievement you’ll read about is a direct result of your commitment to our mission and your participation in our community.

Every story, every smile, every moment of connection is thanks to you. As we look ahead, the need remains great - but so does our determination. With your continued support, we can reach even more veterans who feel forgotten and remind them they are valued, respected and never alone.

Thank you for standing with us.
